How Ellen Cutler Method (ECM) Works

I. Identification of obstructions and remediations

Dr. Ellen’s healing system is able to identify sensitivities and other obstructions and then recommend specific individualized remediations. The Ellen Cutler Method (ECM), uses an electronic device that measures the electrical properties of one or more acupuncture points. She designed the unique ECM software for the device based upon ideas drawn from acupuncture, chiropractic, and applied kinesiology, as well as her own experience working with clients. According to traditional Chinese medicine, the energy of the body, called Qi (Chi), manifests as lines of flow, known as meridians. These meridians run near the surface of the body and pass into their respective internal organs. With the ECM software, the device can determine whether a particular meridian is balanced, stressed, weakened or blocked, especially those related to specific sensitivities (reactivities). But perhaps more importantly, it can determine various aspects of an imbalance and the optimal means to rebalance the area(s) of concern.

II. Interventions

Interventions are used after ECM screening determines specific sensitivities or reactivities, how severe the blockages or imbalances are, and where in the body each reactivity is taking place. ECM emphasizes three primary areas of intervention:

• Organ-specific detoxification gently stimulates the release of accumulated toxins from organs and tissues and promotes their elimination from the body using natural methods and energetic preparations.

• Nutritional therapies facilitate good digestion and a balanced inflammatory response. This helps correct nutritional deficiencies and other systemic imbalances by optimizing nutritional intake with recommended foods and dietary patterns.

• Desensitization: bioenergetic evaluation of organ stress and nutritional status followed by the elimination of sensitivities (reactivities) through noninvasive techniques based primarily on the meridian and immune systems. 

III. Remote, Long distance or Indirect Treatments of the Ellen Cutler Method (ECM):

All substances, living and non-living, can be conceived as existing with and/or as energy. The material manifestation of matter begins with subatomic particles, each of which can be understood to be an energy packet or “quantum”. These in turn aggregate to form atoms that in turn build simple molecules and then more complex structures. The coexistent underlying energetic patterns of these create complex energetic frequencies (information) that interact in positive and negative ways, much like any wave patterns will.

When frequencies are dissonant (i.e. ‘out of tune’ with each other), a blockage or weakness can occur, typically resulting in symptoms associated with the appearance or increase of reactivities. Reactivities are themselves the result of the dissonance between two or more waves (i.e. informational energy). Another name for reactivities in a living system is a sensitivity, which in certain instances can manifest as an allergic reaction.

Dr. Ellen’s ECM system can correct energy imbalances using desensitization techniques, which are supported by energetic preparations and nutritional therapies. Dr. Ellen’s innovative desensitization techniques release blockages and reset the nervous, meridian and immune systems. This process is called “clearing” or “correction.” Correcting for a specific sensitivity (reactivity) helps to rebalance the neurologic, hormonal or immune response which may result in a marked decrease or complete resolution of symptoms that had resulted from reactivities or imbalances.

By activating specific acupressure points the client is able to “correct” imbalances and blockages. This can deactivate food, pathogenic, chemical, environmental and other sensitivities. Once “corrected” using her method of desensitization, the physical symptoms associated with the sensitivities can be reduced or resolved, often permanently. Many individuals also experience marked improvement in both their physical and emotional well-being.

Because ECM Healing works on an energetic level, the testing can be done without the presence of the client. A vial or crystal can be ‘imprinted’ with the specific ‘information’ that needs to be cleared. The client or an assistant can then activate specific acupressure points while in contact with the vial or crystal and deactivate the disharmony or dissonance.
